 I have limited availability for a select handful of men and women between the ages of 35 to 65 years old that want to transform their health and fitness without resorting to short term crash fitness programs that don't last.

Meet Your Coach

From the time I was 12 I’ve been a big believer in the physical and emotional benefits of exercise, proper nutrition and fitness. Working out helped me improve my sports performance, gain more self confidence, and led me to a career helping others gain similar benefits.

I was also motivated to take better care of myself and eventually motivated to help others by seeing a close family member suffer from various ailments due to neglect of their health and fitness by being sedentary and having poor nutrition.

People decide to change their health and fitness habits for many different reasons, but beneath all those reasons, people mainly want more happiness and less pain. If I can help my clients become happier by working towards or achieving their fitness goals, then I know my life has served a meaningful purpose.

While I hold a special place in my heart for working with various types of athletes to perform better as well as stay healthy and injury free, I mostly specialize in working with regular men & women between the ages of 35 to 65 years old that are balancing the busy demands of career and family.  I see how much people give of their time and energy, and how draining and stressful that can be over time if they never take the time to take care of themselves. I give people that outlet to dedicate a small amount of time several times per week to focusing on their needs and leave everything else at the door for 30 to 60 minutes.  

I've been full time in the fitness industry since 2002 and I've seen a lot of workout and diet approaches come and go. I've tried all kinds of programs on myself as well as clients over the years. The most important thing I've learned after seeing people struggle or jump from program to program to program and chasing the next shiny thing, is everyone is different and there is no perfect diet or workout program for everyone. 

That is why I customize every aspect of my coaching whether for exercise or nutrition to the unique needs and abilities of each client. I focus on guiding my clients through the ins and outs of developing long term habits at their own pace, and making changes that will stick, instead of forcing extreme diet or fitness programs on people that end up only working in the short term. 

I truly believe that is why most of my clients train with me for years, not months. They fully trust that I have their long term health and best interests at heart, and that I put myself in their shoes and understand how they feel. I know when to push them harder and encourage them to go out of their comfort zone, and I know when to back off and go a little easier on them. 

Being someone's coach is an honor to me. It's not as superficial as just telling someone to do something and making it so hard that they want to pass out or get super sore. It's really getting to know them and understand what makes them tick. It's helping guide them and empower them to make better choices on their own. It's being the support system people need when the struggle and stress hits so hard some days that make people want to give up. 

That's what gets me up in the morning and has made me love my job for the last 17 years, and I look forward to helping people change their lives for the next 17 years to come.
